BIO
Jessica has been concepting and designing things since she was a wee lass. Making board games as a kid led her in to Flash MX (nostalgic...) in her mid teens. From there she learned ActionScript and thus began her journey in to interactive design. After finishing her studies at Liverpool Arts College, she found herself in London as a freelance Designer, which quickly became a full-time Designer role at various creative, media and advertising agencies across the Big Smoke.
After twelve bedazzling (and expensive) years in ye olde London town, she spread her little chicken wings and flapped over the English Channel to the freedom-loving city of Berlin. Here she found herself right at home, continuing to work for a small handful of lovely German agencies, and self-teaching herself German on the fly, before opting to go the flexible route of 100% freelance. Hurrah!
Since her move to Berlin in 2016, Jessica has had the privilege to work with some exceptional clients - BBC, Europa-Park, Random House, Nickelodeon, to name just a few. There has been laughter and tears, long nights and short tempers, strong coffee and weak eyes. But it's all worth it, to see the final product.
Her natural passion for making things is intoxicating, and she picks up new skills like Brownie badges, giving that value back to her users. Yes, it's all about you...
Jessica is an experienced team lead, has strong interpersonal skills and a gift for problem-solving. Unrelated to that, she is also 33% cat.

With a background in development, building AS3 websites in her teens and HTML5 ads in her twenties, coding is another passion of hers. She recently taught herself CSS and basic jQuery, so definitely test her out on that over a beer sometime.
